Going Green In 2010 Doesn’t Have To Cost A Fortune

If you’re resolving to better yourself this year but wonder if you can afford to, becoming eco-conscious will help you meet your resolution and better the environment as well. If you’re still concerned about finances but would like to do your part in protecting the environment, the little things you can do at home make a difference and don’t cost a cent. Just as you need to buy paper goods anyway, switching to recycled paper goods is cost effective and an easy way to save the earth’s resources. Not letting the water run endlessly when washing dishes or hands is another free and easy step toward becoming more green. Sorting paper, glass and aluminum and putting them out for the recycling pick up in your community is another simple step that adds up. If this is the year you have vowed to donate to a worthy cause, you don’t need money if you have a car you no longer need. Car donation has become a part of many charities resources and if you donate a car to a green charity, your auto donation will do its part to help protect the environment.
