Two years ago my life changed forever.  My wife and I welcomed our daughter Claire into the world.  I didn’t realize it yet but everything was about to change.  I had run a large agency before and was in the middle of growing another one.  I was working 60+ hours a week and managing a full time staff of 18 people.  I was making a decent living but I wasn’t actually LIVING.

I sat down and reviewed how much money I wanted to make (take home) and started to redesign by business to support that number while working as little as possible.  I was about to become a dad and I wanted my time back.

Some of you reading this may still want to go out and make a gazillion dollars by working 80-100 hours a week.  There is NOTHING wrong with that.  I’ve been there, done that, and wrote a book about it (no seriously buy it on Amazon).  This just wasn’t for me any more.

The system I developed that allowed me to sit back while continuing to bring in a six figure salary seemed to effortless.  It was as if I knew all along how to do this but just hadn’t made the conscious decision to do so.  After living this way for a few years I decided to share the process with a few of agency owners to see if this would work for them as well, and it did.
