Google does determine page rank dependent on if there are keywords on your website pages in all of the right pages, but they also calculate page rank based on these factors:

  • The age of the website (older is better)
  • The popularity of the website (more views equals increased rank)
  • The number of links linking to the website (links from more popular websites count more than links from less popular sites)
  • The location of the website (search results in one state will be completely different than search results in another state.
