Free tools will also offer solutions to specific customer pain points. This can take the form of a checklist, trial, or assessment. These biggest difference between a piece of content and a tool is that the content offers suggestions, but a tool starts to lead your newly converted contact toward a solution. Essentially the difference is that Free Content is a Suggestion, but a Free Tool is the beginning of a Solution. Your new contact doesn’t have to wait in order to get started with their tool.
